Greenbriar is generally quite pet-friendly; folks can be seen walking their dogs throughout the day, and many of us know our neighbors’ pets as well as we know their owners. There is no additional charge for pets meeting Greenbriar size and breed requirements.

Members may have two pets such as dogs, cats or one of each. A dog must be 50 lbs or less when fully grown. Birds, fish, turtles, hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs are limited to one cage and/or tank per unit.

Members/applicants are required to provide proof that each dog or cat has a current rabies vaccination, valid city license, a microchip, and has been spayed or neutered. Service or therapy dog owners must provide appropriate documentation showing that their service/therapy animal is trained and certified.

Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Cats must be kept indoors or in the patio area. Additionally, owners are expected to thoroughly clean up their pets’ waste, whether in common areas or in their own units/yards.

Animals specifically not allowed at Greenbriar include rabbits, ferrets, reptiles (with the exception of turtles), insects, spiders, mice, and exotics.
